So we have a Parrot.

... for those of you who don't know us that well ... His name is Harley, and I think he is turning 1 this month, considering my mother bought him 1 year ago in January the day after I left for Spain for a study abroad. Pretty much they live for around 60 years.... And he's 1.

Once upon a time my mother was walking around Bird World to buy some dog food and bird food, when she passed by this blue faced Amazon that said, "Hello. I. Love you."

And that was enough to have a new member to the family...
He can bite really hard, and he really only likes my mom. On a few lucky days, he lets ME - rub his head and his feathers get all puffy.
Marci holding him. HAHAHA. He also has really sharp claws. And he really can't fly. We are all a little bit scared of him, for good reason. But not my mother.

But it's still fun to get him out.

He says things like,
HOLA! BON DIA! D'ACORD? SIUSPLAU! (Catalan, which I taught him)
Hello. I love you. Hi lovey. Hi baby. Gunther! come here! Carp. Ah ah ah ah stayin alive stayin alive. Dave? Huh? Paula? Jess? Jessica? What? Bark! Honk! ... and the immitations of all of our laughs... which is quite embarrassing...

Dan was saying things like, "PAULA! ONE BITE AND YOU WILL HAVE SERIOUS PERMANENT DAMAGE! HE COULD GIVE YOU A CLEFT LIP! OR BITE YOUR EYE! YOU WOULD GO BLIND!"
But I don't think he would ever do that to her.
