Switchback
Hi everyone. Since this blog is completely full, I will be using my old blog again. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm getting blog books made, but it's a long process. Enjoy!

Hi.
Hi everyone. Merry Christmas! Sorry I've gotten behind. I wouldn't have, had I not used up all my storage I'm allowed to have on this blog. That being said, I'm trying to hurry and order my next blog books so I can delete everything online and switch back to my old blog until I can catch up and make books on this blog. Anyway. The semester finally came to an end! Ryan and I both did very well. Ryan did SO well in fact, that he has now gotten a 4.0 for a consecutive year at Weber State, and will now get to have his name engraved on the wall up on campus. I have a lot to live up to... haha. jk. We're not competing. All I care about is that we are both happy with ourselves by the end of the semester and aren't getting B- or lower. Let me tell you... I kind of can't believe that I got through the semester. I wouldn't trade my education for anything. It has been an emotional roller coaster! I love my nursing friends so much and we live through all these hard experiences together! Anyway. This break was MUCH needed, holy cow. We have enjoyed Christmas A LOT. Seriously. Seriously though. Seriously. We are enjoying the break A LOT. Ryan is in the middle of switching jobs. He will be teaching tennis for his coach soon, something he LOVES doing. If you're interested in taking lessons, just comment on this post. Ryan had the #1 spot on the Davis High tennis team and then continued to play in the #6 spot at Weber State University for the past few years. Anyway. Hopefully I can catch up on my books and finish 2009 so I can get back to blogging for real! I love you all. Hope you had a merry christmas. and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Hello.
I honestly don't know how I found time to do this gem... One day while at work, I found this magazine. I used to always go through pictures of magazines with the residents. We came across this owl. One of the CNA's said, "I'll give you 100 dollars if you can draw this owl." Immediately I put my hand out and said, "OKAY! DEAL!" And he was like... , "No, it has to look exactly like it." Still with my hand out to shake, I said, "I'll do it." Then he was like... wait a second... do you draw? Are you an artist? I laughed a little... He took back his offer, sadly. I did the project anyway. I miss doing art projects SO much. I can't wait until Christmas break!!! It's like 1 month away.
Frozen Yogurt and the Good Time!
This is always a treat.
We met up with Justin, his friend Russ, and Kandice.
Fun for these two to see each other again!
Justin is literally so tall (6'6") that I could not get them in the same frame...
We love Justin. He is honestly one of the funniest people I know. He's at school at BYU right now.

Did you know...
That Thomas Wolfy, my cat, and I have the same birthday? Thomas is 1!
I can't believe we've had him for a whole year. We just love him!
September 5th, 2012
I had a good birthday. After school, Ryan told me to follow him in his car. He got me a full body massage by a pro... for 80 minutes... and it was INCREDIBLE! It honestly came at the perfect time. I didn't know I needed one, but I surely did. Then I came home to a surprise family party for me! and Thomas. Except it wasn't a surprise to Thomas. It was so nice for everyone to come.
Oh Brett... haha
Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream cake!
And some new shoes from Sister. Thanks again, Sis. I LOVE shoes. I always love a new pair of shoes. Lately, I have been wanting blue shoes. A sisters intuition? Must be. I love them.
They are so comfortable!

Nursing School
So as most of you know, I am now currently in nursing school. I remember thinking on the second day of class, I can't wait until this is over...as I sat there getting completely overwhelmed. We're over half way through this semester now. To sum it all up... it has honestly been an emotional roller coaster. I have this number in my head... 80%. I need an 80% on all my test averages to be able to automatically move on to the RN program at Weber State. So, as you can imagine, there is a lot of pressure to do well. It started out really rough... getting 3 test scores in the 70s... Then I started studying with my teacher, and bought some more books that she likes to pull questions from. It helped tremendously. My scores were gradually going up with each test, so that's what was giving me hope that I was fixing my mistakes on studying more efficiently. My scores are are high enough now. This class I'm talking about is called Lifespan. My other classes are Fundamentals of Nursing and Introduction to nursing. I enjoy everything that I'm learning. Clinicals have been wonderful, wandering around the hospitals and following nurses around. I'm learning a lot. However, it always seems like I'm in a time crisis. I really have no time for anything else. However, I am no longer working on Saturdays, so that has freed up some time to study. I already miss my job, and even more, the residents that I had so much fun with over the past 8 months. They will always have a special place in my heart.
US Open, 2012
Ryan and I got to go spend about an hour at Arthur Ashe Day. We didn't have as much time as we would have liked, but we watched some pro's warm up!
The ball people make me laugh.
