Meet Darlene (left) and Norma (right). They're in housekeeping and do a great job. I love them both.
Patti, one of our receptionists, is great too.
Wendy is at the computer, director of activities. Then we have John, our boss.
This game was... guess the candy bar... gross.
Aaron, in the cap, is our maintenance man, and his wife was having her first baby, so us employees threw a baby shower for her.
I won this cool treat. My guess was 324 skittles in the bottle. Nope. 357. But I win.
I have worked at Apple Village in activities since February of this year. It has been SO FUN, seriously. I am going to miss these people a lot. I start school in 10 DAYS... and I can't believe it. I will continue to work at Apple Village, but only on Saturdays and maybe some Sundays, with some occasional bigger events that our facility plans, and maybe a few week nights, depending on how things go... so pretty much I won't be seeing anyone in the administration anymore unless it's a big event. I have the greatest job in the world. I get to play games with the elderly and entertain them all day. It's a blast. I'm sad I won't be there full time anymore, but I just keep reminding myself that I am entering into a different stage of life that will benefit more people in the long run. The end.
