Oh, Blogging...

I decided I'm going to start posting lots of things on my blog again, mainly because I sort of just got put in charge of blogging for Apple Village.  I haven't done anything with it yet, but when I do, I will post a link to it.  I love my job so much. Seriously.  It is so much fun.  I just act like a fool all day and these residents think I'm the greatest person ever.  The best part is, some of them don't remember me on a day-to-day basis, so I just get to do the same thing over again, and it's funny every time.  I do lots of art projects with the residents, and am creating art books for all of them.  One of my most prized possessions is art pieces of my grandpa, shown here.

I will thoroughly enjoy my time of being full time at Apple Village until the end of August.  Everything will change at the end of August, when I start nursing school.  I am so ready, and so excited, and oh so terrified... I haven't even been a full time student for a few years now... I'll be busy from 8-3 Monday through Friday, and then try to go to work a few of those days after school... It'll be nuts. Honestly I am so excited though.  I feel like all of my school work all became worth it.  Everything paid off.  There were many times throughout the past few years that I doubted myself, mostly when I failed microbiology tests, and even last semester... in pathophysiology didn't do so well on all of my exams. I am so so grateful for the DATC for accepting me.  I finally did it.  And for all others trying to pursue their careers and goals, you can do it.  Everyone has bad days in trying to reach goals, but it is possible.  There's always tomorrow.  Keep trying. In the words of Jimmy Cliff...
