The other day at Weber I went and found Ryan at a computer in the library. There was about 6 other people on this same large table, all on computers. This girl had the hiccups... for probably 20 minutes to a half hour... and people on this table were clearly getting annoyed, and looking at her, and eachother, half annoyed, and half humored.
Then I asked Ryan for a piece of paper..
and I wrote,
"Should I scare her?" and I held it up to the girl sitting by the hiccup-er. She immediately smiled and shook her head YES about 7 times...
Well. I got permission. So I leave the table, silently laughing to myself at what I'm about to do. Ryan and this girl are laughing... they know what's coming. I snuck up behind this girl, and got within inches of her right behind her... and screamed.
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
in the quiet library of Weber State. And this table of computers BURST out laughing. And this girl's face.. as she looked at me, with no words, said, "Why would you do that....???!!!"
And I said, "Sorry, I noticed you have the hiccups, I was just trying to help you out. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything... stupid phrenic nerve..."
and the table couldn't stop laughing. She half laughed, out of obvious embarrassment and apologized to me. And I said, "No, I don't have a problem with it, I just though I'd help you out."
HAHAHHAHA. We should have recorded the whole thing... because THAT was funny.
