I finished this today. I'm in an English Literature class this fall. And I actually quite like it, because we're just going to be reading a lot of books. I felt ashamed that I had never heard of Pushkin before this class, since he is considered "The Shakespeare of Russia." This story is about the superfluous man. Honestly- not my favorite book... superfluous people are quite boring... and lazy. But. I can see why we're studying it. There are definately some interesting factors in this book.
but it's always fulfilling to finish a book, even if it wasn't your favorite.
